Salons

Below is the schedule for the 2024-2025 NYCC Salons. At this semi-monthly meeting, member composers present and discuss new works and works in progress for fellow members and guests. They also hear talks and presentations by various new music community industry professionals. All salons will be held as LIVE in-person meetings, as well as virtually via Zoom for those outside the NYC area or otherwise unable to attend in person. Please see below for the locations of each salon.

All Salons are open to the public. Zoom events are unlimited, and all are welcome to attend. Space is limited when Salons are live events (indicated below). To be included on the guest list, please send a message via the CONTACT page in the menu bar to reserve a seat. We hope to see you there!


  • Salon #7: Sunday, June 22, 2:00-5:00 PM — Our final salon of the season. McKay Studio at Opera America's National Opera Center, 330 7th Ave, 7th Floor, New York City. This salon will feature a presentation by Gina Genova, Director of the American Composers Alliance. Seating will be limited; to reserve a seat, please send an email HERE.
