“HEAR THE WINDS BLOW”—NYCC announces

THIRD CONCERT of the 2012-13 SEASON

A Premiere-based Concert of New Music

New York Composers Circle, Inc. is a registered non-profit corporation in the state of New York

The New York Composers Circle presents Hear The Winds Blow, the third concert of their 2012-2013 season, on Sunday, April 14, 2013, 3:00 p.m. at Saint Marks-in-the-Bowery, 131 East 10th Street, New York City.

The concert features two world premieres: Nina Siniakova’s Wenn Dich dein Schatten Verlässtfor mezzo-soprano and oboe and Gaither Myers’ Chaconne for Four Windsfor flute, oboe, clarinet and bassoon. Two Manhattan premieres include: Hubert Howe’s Trio for Cello, Clarinet and Piano and Martin Halpern’s Trio for Flute, Clarinet and Cello. Finally, John Eaton’sEmerging Convergencein its New York premiere. Cesar Vuksic’s Variations for Clarinet and Pianorounds out the concert.

There is a $20 suggested contribution, payable at the door.
