"A Night to Remember" NYCC at Bargemusic September 20

Sunday, October 28, 2012 7:29 AM

Calling it "a night to remember," the online magazine SoundWordSight gave a rave review to the September 20, 2012 NYCC concert at Bargemusic. The concert was performed by the PUBLIQuartet string quartet ( who performed with "depth of understanding and great beauty"), along with the NYCC's own Nataliya Medvedovskaya performing on piano (with a "dance-like delicacy of touch"). The review notes the NYCC's "pace-setting" style, and remarks on the achievement of the individual compositions and composers: Peri Mauer, Richard D. Russell, Richard Brooks, Nataliya Medvedovskaya, and Max Giteck Duykers.
